NEXT MEETING: Fish Market Tuesday - 2/12/2008 - 6:30 PM
PLEASE NOTICE MEETING LOCATION
2008 is here and things are moving at a fast pace with out association.
We are about to embark on a membership drive to begin the year. Our association will be split into four teams. Each team will be equally split and challenge each other to see who can enlist the most new members. The winning team will be served by he loosing team at our May meeting at the Kiwanis Pavillion.
On another note, there is a lot of discussion going on about the association erecting our own building. As all of you know (or you should know), we currently own a lot behind Mayer Electric on Steele Station Rd. It is the belief of our board as well as the associate council that now may be the time to act on this. This could provide an excellent location for meetings, training, meeting with customers, etc. Tell us what you think.
Don't forget, The Greater Gadsden, Homebuilders Golf tournament is May 20th at Silver Lakes. Another change for this year will be One Shotgun start. Lunch will be provided before start. This should be fantastic! We will have the entire course so plan to come early and see everyone. Flyers will be coming out soon.

If you haven't bought you raffle chance for the Valentine Basket, it's not too late. Please see one of the ladies from the women's council. The ticket's are $5.00 each. It is my understanding that this basket has over $300.00 worth of vouchers, creams, smell goods, and potions. I can only imagine that this basket would go a long way in getting some of you guys out of the doghouse at home........... I'm told that Jeff "Big Cat" Bedwell is trying to buy every ticket they have ..............but this is only a rumor.
Thoughts from the secretary:
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams.
